The exhibition will portray a Chinese legendary story through three creatives: musicians from the Royal College of Music (RCM), animations designed by a Royal College of Art (RCA) artist, and a dancer from the RCM.

 

As the audience enters in a one-way direction, a storytelling effect will take place in the projected animations.

 

The overall experience should be that of an art gallery where the audience may move around to view the various subjects projected around the hall at their own tempo. The exhibition will also present the audience with a new experience of physically seeing themselves (silhouettes) incorporated into the projected animations, which will be based on the Butterfly Lovers legend.
